NEW ENGLAND WHITE SHARK RESEARCH CONSORTIUM
The mission of the New England White Shark Research Consortium (NEWSRC) is to further the science and sustainable management of the white shark (Carchardon carcharias) within its northwest Atlantic range by leveraging regional expertise and resources toward addressing research needs.
Research
Through coordinated and collaborative efforts, NEWSRC uses new and innovative technologies and research methods to study white sharks within the Northwest Atlantic Ocean.
Collaborators
Shark research groups and government agencies from across the east coast are working collaboratively to increase our understanding of white sharks in the region.
